WAVER MIGHT ACTUALLY END UP USING MURDERBLOB TO DEAL WITH IT. Waver has a healthy fear of Reynard but he also kind of wants to set his stupid fox tail on fire out of pure spite, so the two end up balancing out.

totally fair enough there's always other means of contact and communication.
