BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th NOVEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

This month, everybody who defeated the dogs gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. What about those who moved the bones? Bide your time, lads and lassies! The Black Shuck will have taken note...

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

She will be given six bronze tokens, which seem like slightly wide and thin coins. A small note will inform her that whatever the foe, should she cast one of the tokens at her foe, a spell of light shall bind it in place long enough for her to flee.

Korra will be given her glider, and a small basket of sea prunes! The fairies who come asking for the boon will stoutly volunteer to look after the beasts in her absence.

Diarmuid will be given an ensorcelled ring, which shall give him the ability both to summon and manipulate fire!

It will take a great deal of focus and practice to learn how to control this ability well! He may want to pick up a tutor.

Balor, the vaguely-Argonian looking captain of the guard of Caer Scima, will gift J'sairr an improved bow which is spelled so that each successful hit on a target pins the creature in its steps for a few seconds, frozen and unable to move. He shall also offer to instruct the Dragonborn in weapons-mastery. A known war veteran and skilled fighter, there are few better to learn from!

Morgana will be given a silver livery collar, a heavy necklace worn as a mark of office. It will allow her, once a month, to give one command which cannot be disobeyed to another individual.
