BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th NOVEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

This month, everybody who defeated the dogs gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. What about those who moved the bones? Bide your time, lads and lassies! The Black Shuck will have taken note...

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

BOON REQUEST: oh gosh i guess he'd probably ask permission to settle his fam somewhere out of the way. maybe in/around quendi? (idk what the plans for it are, but it'd be pretty great symbolically..) or if not there, somewhere in la llorona or on the moors or.. somewhere. basically, he'd explain that the feanorionnath are pretty universally hated for kinslaying in their world, so it might be a good idea for them to be away.. from other elves... and they don't mind dangerous places, given that they'd lived next door to The Ultimate Evil and all his mini evils.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: he hasn't been here long, which means i haven't had him too involved yet, so if that's not possible, feel free to.. wildcard me, i guess!! but i'd like something.. sort of related??? if possible?????

As a note, many characters have recently found and publicised the fact that Quendi and La Llorona are actually increasingly dangerous places within the last month; many have been killed there, and some investigators have found the unknown threat localised to Quendi.

That said, characters are all free to settle wherever they want! No permission needed. In the event that that information makes you want to edit your boon...!

oh snap, decisions. umm!! well, obviously, i don't want to step on any future-plotty toes, but if it's not going to, mae would probably kanye shrug at the danger (since he and his bros seem to have a death-wish) in quendi, and would.. possibly ask for a way to ward a domicile against.. harm..? since my guess is they'd pick one of the ruins to clean up.

if it is going to interfere in some plot, or some possible plot, or if it's just really that fucking stupid for them to go there (which is possible..), he'd probably ask for some assistance in settling somewhere in the moors?

bottom line, i guess, is that i'd like to work him slowly up to himring 2.0, and the first step is settling him somewhere.

The plot in the ruins is that another PC, a powerful vampire (Roa) has been inhabiting the ruins and using them as a power base. The character posted an OOC notice some time ago. You're welcome to contact them and try to work something out!

If not, we can move forward with other options.
