BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th NOVEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

This month, everybody who defeated the dogs gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. What about those who moved the bones? Bide your time, lads and lassies! The Black Shuck will have taken note...

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

BOON REQUEST: "Swift passage between Troichean Beinn and the Cothromach."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: No fairy ring. Gendry just wants to be able to easily go from one to another so he can still continue his apprenticeship, but fulfill his obligations to his friends in Cothromach. Ideally this could be done by simply placing a portal between his rooms in both cities. No one else needs to be able to use it but him, even!

Otherwise any kind of bonus the monarchs may wanna toss him would be cool.

BOON REQUEST: A new staff or a way to do magic without a staff.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I'm not really sure about alterations other than possibly a wand or a ring or some magic artifact he has to wear that lets him do magic. I'm okay with another staff or him being granted the ability to do magic without anything, but if a conduit is needed, a ring/necklace/bracelet/magic pair of undies or w/e would work fine with me.

BOON REQUEST: A spare wand, if possible. If not, a perch and bookstand at perch-height for my familiar.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Technically, back in Britain, Harry has another wand that he's master of, but he'd left it buried in Dumbledore's grave in the hope that it would be forgotten. What do you say we ruin his day?

RELEVANT THREAD(S): vs dogs/Saber & Bones sort-of. With that said, she's been traveling with Saber to deliver bones so that's where she's been.
BOON REQUEST: A flying ship
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Since she's a thorough little thing, she will go through the trouble of specifying that it has to be able to carry 1-2 persons and carry cargo of small to medium size.

However since that's a mighty large request, it's perfectly fine if said ship is busted, doesn't fly, or threatens to fall apart at a moment's notice. Any other creative uses of "flying ship" is also totes fine by me. She's just... you know, once she gets her heart set on a thing.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I expect this will be nerfed kind of like how Attack Mode was nerfed for Waver, but again, I'd like to keep with the animal theme. Maybe it could change shape to a different thing to attack? I imagine an extremely dense housecat still wouldn't do all that much damage... but in any case, go wild!

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Essentially, Saber wants a hearthstone set to The Barrel so she has instant transport back to that specific place. If that's too much, then wildcard me!
