To complete it, please follow these guidelines:

Either post TEN (10) linear network comments or FIVE (5) linear log tags.

Do not link to entire posts.

Do not link to head of threads that branch out into several others.

Entry starter tags DO NOT count.

Comment chains/icon spam may only count as one comment.

The tags must be YOURS. Ten comments in total with five belonging to another player will not count.

Backtagged threads (within the month) are admissible.

Do not link to two separate threads.

Do not link ongoing threads.

Inbox threads are inadmissible.

Tags made prior to the month of the check are admissible ONLY if a character was accepted between it and apps opening. (If your character wasn't newly accepted, don't worry about this)

If you have been on hiatus for 10 days or more and done so through the official page, then you are exempt from AC. Please respond to this post anyway, just so we can double check!

DOUBLING-UP ON AC

If you cannot make AC, you may DOUBLE-UP. This is an option that allows for players with extenuating circumstances (school, work, RL obligations) to pass with good faith. Doubling-up is easy! It's exactly what it sounds like: if you can't submit 10 network tags or 5 log tags this time, you are giving your word to submit 20 network tags or 10 log tags next month. You may submit your double up in combinations of the following:

One (1) thread of TWENTY (20) network comments

One (1) thread of TEN (10) log comments.

Two (2) threads of TEN (10) network comments.

Two (2) threads of FIVE (5) log comments.

No other combinations will be accepted.

To Double-Up, please submit the following:

As Mods, we understand that sometimes real life can get hectic, so we're happy to implement this option. You may have two separate threads if they meet the BASE requirements. Please be aware that Doubling-Up is, unsurprisingly, to be used SPARINGLY. You cannot use it twice in a row and we will look into any incidents of the system being abused with an on-off-on-off record.

Please make sure you respond by DEC 1st 00:01am London GMT.

Activity check proper (before the leeway) will always conclude on the first of the month, and will always begin near the end of it (often the 26th, except for in February). If you're uncertain, check the community at times, or track the tag if you're able. Regardless, it is your responsibility to make yourself aware of the dates.

Players who fail to check-in within the time frame will have 48 hours of leeway after it to do so, however please be aware that they will be penalised with an automatic double-up for the following month. Players who fail to respond at all after this time, who are not exempt, or who haven't notified a mod of extenuating circumstances will be swept from the game and will be prohibited from apping for one app cycle. Again, we understand that life can get hectic or that the game itself may not be a good fit for your character--that's perfectly fine, it happens--however, should this be the case, it doesn't take very long to fill out a drop form. As always, please inform us if you have any questions or comments!

NOTE: Please be advised there will be NO ACTIVITY CHECK FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER owing to the holidays and all that jazz (praise). However, there will still be a post ONLY for players that are doubling up. PLEASE DO NOT POST IF YOU ARE NOT SUCH A PLAYER It will mess us up and waste time. 8( Players that are doubling up have two options:

Submitting to the special December AC post.

Rolling over for January.

If you think you'll be able to post for December or rollover, please let us know (as indicated in the submission field). However if you're uncertain, if you change your mind, or something happens either way, don't worry about it. It's not mandatory and you will not be penalised, it will just help us out, a little.

But, the rest of you are cool. Seriously. Don't post to AC with comments like "I had AC anyway, so here you go! :D" We won't be impressed and reserve the right to give you 10x the AC. Happy holidays.
