BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!

Wherever Shardbearer characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 15th DECEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 15th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

This month, everybody who hunted for the Hart gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon.

So, want a boon? Simply C&P the below into your comment:

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Pretty standard teleportation, however you'd prefer that he do it. Otherwise maybe a flying carpet or the ability to fly?

CHARACTER NAME: luke castellan.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: basically, he wants some phones (or just PHONES GALORE!!!) so he can build his own network and basically be able to message his friends and track their locations with cool apps he can probably create bc he's the son of the god of tech and weird shit. can they not be reliant on the station? if they have to be used at the station, i'd prefer a wildcard or a herd of cows that are loyal to luke and luke alone … his dad is a cowfucker, guys.

BOON REQUEST: A bodyguard, preferably one that's very difficult to kill and with some magical talent.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: ~~ariadne if you were more careful about your life choices you wouldn't need one as badly~~ Bodyguard could be sentient or some sort of... idk magical golem animal thing. Otherwise-guards for her manor? More workers for her architect team?

BOON REQUEST: "I need the rest of the runes, Queen of Light. Ah--and, you'll be happy to hear I've really made strides with that smoke magic you told me about. I should show you, sometime."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Nothing I can think of! I'll leave the gags for Roa's boon requests.

CHARACTER NAME: Lumina
CANON: Final Fantasy XIII

RELEVANT THREAD(S): Hunting the hart/running into elves whoops.
BOON REQUEST: Lumina swipes the paper from the imp as she usually does and writes on it 'The guy in the stables said he won't train my little chocobos anymore unless I learn something about training animals and told me to look up a book on horse training. Except they aren't horses. Can I have some books on chocobo training? Or just make him do it!'
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Don't make him do it, she has to learn this stuff, books would be better! And preferably a book on training and chocobo breeding if possible? To get the idea rolling in her head.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Basically he would like some kind of fairy-approved music device that he can use to either record songs and/or have preloaded with songs he’s familiar with (i.e. a handful of stuff on his now non-working iPhone.) If that’s not possible, I’m okay with a wildcard! Thank you as always.

CHARACTER NAME: Michael Roa Valdamjong

BOON REQUEST: "I already have all the power you stole from me back in my hands and then some, but it doesn't mean anything. The opposing Queen recruited the True Ancestor, but broke her in the same way. There isn't any need for this world to have a 'Trash Princess'. Restore the status of 'Ultimate One' to Arcueid Brunestud. Otherwise, it won't be worthwhile to have any exchanges with her."

Basically, Roa wants Arcueid to be top dawg, again. It's not because he's madly in love with her or anything.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: LIKE IT SAYS ON THE TIN, junpei wants the team dog... but since koro-chan has a persona as well, he could be power capped as well...? most of his spells are fire and darkness related, and actual magic. maybe his evoker works less often... idk... SHIBE....

(if koro-chan's too much, junpei will also take a removal of one of the power capped spells for his own persona!)

What exactly do you guys count as event partipation? I thought that to ask for a boon you had to fullfil the "this month, everybody who..." request, for example last month you denied the boon to someone that even if they participated of the event in logs, they didn't kill a dog.

But now I see someone submitting network network threads of only chatting to people and not actual searching for the hart and they get the boon anyway, which is not fair for people who some times are busy for logs and pass ac with some network threads.

Also, what exactly do you consider LOTS of activiy for a "Big Deal" boon? Because let's say you didn't notice those thread were network threads, mistakes happen. But they got with two threads the same boon another person was denied with only one. So only two threads is already a lot? Because then many people here should be asking for WAY more stuff.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: obviously since the magic will wear off in a week, korra's huffing and puffing isn't really useful as a boon request. instead, i'd like her to receive some kind of four-person sleigh for naga for her to use in the winter months! i'd like for it to be charmed/magicked in some way, but i'll leave the fun up to you. :3

Which sounds like a wildcard, but I'd like for them to get a dog!! Or dog-like animal. But if it could be a dog-esque companion that is loyal to Percy and Annabeth both that would be kind of perfect. c: (Bonus points if it has a nametag on its collar that says Athena????)

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: If that's not a possibility I'm fine with a wildcard, but preferably something he can give to Annabeth for Christmas, please! ;3;

BOON REQUEST: "My Yankee cap used to have some invisibility magic in it, but it got taken away. It might be a little bit difficult, but I'd really appreciate getting it back."

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: a wildcard works if the cap is too much! or, in the canon, the cap only works when annabeth puts it on her head, but it keeps her invisible for an unlimited amount of time. if you want to put a restraint on it that way, like it will only last for so long, or that it needs a recharge time or anything, i think that would also be really interesting!

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Originally he was gonna ask after a compass, but lately Thomas hasn't actually been getting sleep due to guilt/PTSD!nightmares that keep him up or make him restless when he does try to sleep. So he won't even sass the imps this time if it means he can get anything that might help Tommy to rest easier.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: PLEASE don't release him from his debts!! (I am sure you wouldn't.) He's not expecting this to work, not even slightly. I am happy to wildcard, but would particularly like some Magic Fun Times. (His plans goes: get horribly powerful, win/steal back children, ???, profit). An increase in his slowly-strengthening shadow powers (tangible shadows, maybe, though not as intense as they were during the moon going missing, or some shadow-teleportation)? A strengthening of his fear-mesmer? Something to make him even more of an ungodsly monster?

Or he can just get coal. So much coal. He has been a BAD VAMPIR. :|

BOON REQUEST: "The power I might have earned at home. Sirenix." Okay, so Sirenix is another transformation, and if Flora gets it, typically, she would lose access to her previous ones, but I would like to please request monarchhax to make it so that she doesn't have to lose previous powers. For the record, Sirenix is more powerful than her current level, but it's nothing gamebreaking, and its most notable feature is that she can properly use her magic underwater, as well as enabling her to swim faster, and giving her a special restorative power.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I wouldn't mind taking a power hit to Sirenix, for the time being. I'm more in it for the versatility, not necessarily the strength. And if you need more details about it for some caps or other, I wouldn't mind providing them.

-Otherwise, a poison element for her one scythe, and a healing element of her other. The effects/specifics/limits to be decided by you, the mods.

-Double otherwise, wildcard it.

BOON REQUEST: "I'd like to be more independent and make my husband proud... but I love him and I am always worrying about him here. Maybe if I had something that would let me visit him any time I wish... I'd feel better about going out into the world."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Feel free to be as creative with method or limits! But I'm actually asking this for developmental reasons and she really needs something like this so I can get her out there more. It's kind of like how cell phones help people feel more independent! I'm up for it to be something like a magic that she has to learn and practice a lot before she can actually use it. But now I'm picturing that one scene in Bedknobs and Broomsticks where Miss Price is being bucked around by her broom... that'd be hilarious
