a princess must canon update
Sup, fairy broskis? Hazel here.
As of the 18th, Merida's gone into a canon update coma! I'll be taking her from post movie, which I roughly estimate to be two years post the battle with Mor'du (because goddamnit Disney, tapestries and a healthier relationship with your mother don't crop up overnight), so this canon update also includes an age jump! She'll be going from 16 to 19.
This is mostly to clear her conscious so that if we time skip, she won't be holding onto that nasty old guilt that comes from turning her mum into a bear for years, and she can move forward. She'll be back awake around the 23rd-24th, depending on when I get back from a short trip up north.
