Dave is ok with cautious, with Morgana around he's hiding the whole Merlin thing out of being cautious too. Since she isn't a true manipulator like you say, he'll understand.

Glamour as in some protection you mean? Sadly he isn't that good with shields yet, but if you want destruction in the mountains, they can try making him follow them there as a distraction?
