Oh man, I'm disappointed that they're on opposite sides because Lavellan has been hearing about this vampire v.s. elves thing and she wants to help 'her people'. :( I know this is TOTALLY NOT MUCH TO DO WITH WHAT'S GOING ON but I hope she hears about the fighting with the elf archers and investigates later.
