Hi all!

Another amongst the newbie flood, and so glad to be here. I'm Nina and I've got Arthur Pendragon here. Yes, that's right your resident force of all that is good and noble in the world, with his lovely blonde locks and winning smile. c.c;

If you're unfamiliar with BBC's Merlin, this particular version of Arthur Pendragon is a young King, with Merlin as his manservant and personal punching bag/target. He's a good guy, and all the brave knightly, bold sort of things, but he can also be a brat. He might be a brat about being stuck here because he should be in Camelot, waving at his subjects and drinking tea? Also where's his wife. He's going to most petulant about that.

I see there are a few other Merlin peoples, some of your characters whom Arthur will love, and some he will curse and shake his fist at!!!!!!1 Not to mention a whole SLEW of you folks from all kinds of canons I'm dying to meet and interact with. OH GOD. There's Dragons. I want Arthur to meet a nice dragon. :E I shall be putting up a Seelie feast post tonight to join in the shenanigans.

I look forward to meeting you folks, come at me with stuff, please. :D I see some of you I already know! Feel free to plurk me @ shahfla

I'm leaving the country for two weeks (business/pleasure). I may be able to pick at tags here and there, but probably won't be picking up any new threads or plotting for the first event this month.

Get in, losers, we're going to the station (calling the Unseelie) (+Seelie)

So Fëanor here will be heading out towards the station from the Unseelie castle on (presumably) the 3rd. His son will supply him with horses and whatever else is needed, enough to support a small group of travellers. It would be lovely if more people would join them! That said, while I'd love to see more people go with them and the characters themselves would also prefer a larger group, neither of them will be specifically searching for travel companions. At the same time they won't be shy to mention it, and will gladly accept travel companions if people express their interest. If you'd be interested to have your character join in on the trip, there are plenty of options to do so. They do not have to know Fëanor yet, and all types of characters are welcome, they don't even have to know how to ride (they'll get a crash course) - the only requirement is that they're physically in the right area.

[EDIT: If your character is not in the right area, Seelie, would icly not be interested in travelling but oocly you are, and so on - thanks to the Mod Event of Hedley Kow you could drop them on the party later on, if you'd like. They'll pass through the Noa Woods during the time of the event, which is a relatively safe area, so they could be lost for a day before running into the party, if so desired.]

So how to get the ball rolling?
>Have your character talk to Fëanor in person at any point during the 2nd. That day he will be planning and preparing, so he will be out and about in the castle, mostly the stables, library, forges and hallways; I will be throwing up an open log tonight, with him generally being around and doing things, but if you have other ideas for a meeting I'm happy to throw up character-specific options as well. (Log to be found here!)
>Have your character talk to him in the intro log and bring up that you would like to travel around the area or maybe even specifically to the station, and he will ping you on your locket, should you have given him your name (and left a good/passable first impression).
>Have your character talk to Elrond and bring up the topic of travelling/exploring/what Elrond will be in the next few weeks. If they express interest in joining the trip, Elrond will redirect them to Fëanor (either his locket or to wherever he currently is (see log above).
>In a similar fashion, if your character speaks to Celegorm and express an interest in travelling to the station, he will suggest joining his father on his trip.
>I will make a locket post with him searching for people who already are at, or are headed towards, the station. They could get on the topic from there. (Will be linked here once it goes up).

To know who wants in and steer threads into the right direction and such, I'd please ask you to just really quickly tell me 1) that you'd like your character in on the trip and 2) what option (or if something else, what) you would go with to make the arrangement ICLy. Taking road trips with Fëanor is the best idea and a lot of fun for the whole family, really. Trust me, he's an expert. A+ recommended would do again. Okay I'll stop now |D. But really all your character should join, the more, the merrier.
