Hi guys,

Sadly, it seems that life has a very annoying sense of humor; it calms down when I'm not in game and gets batshit crazy when I app. And so, I find myself without the time and energy to properly dedicate to this wonderful world, and the wonderful cast and cr that it presents me with. If I can't do it right, I'd much rather let someone who can have a go at it.

Quest & Influence News

Quest Requests are now CLOSED! This is so that we can optimally process the first batch, all the remainder of which should get their assignments TODAY! Below is a post where those involved can review the system, and recommend any changes for us! Some modifications have already been made to the FAQ and to the Quest Request form itself. So far, significant changes include the following:

• Long term goals! A field for long term goals was added to the quest request form. Ideally, participation in quests should help players fulfill their long term goals for their character, in terms of winning influence or power within the drabwurld.


• Perks for advancement! Characters who are high-ranking will have the opportunity to award out their own low-level quests, as described in the updated FAQ! We will be releasing the mechanic for doing so either when Quest Requsts open again later this month (tentative ETA the 18th) or at the beginning of next month.

AC News

We'll be updating the AC process with a warning list to let individuals who haven't posted know who they are! As a general note, passing AC requires actually posting to AC: please don't forget to do so!

Also, there will be NO AC FOR DECEMBER. Nada! We will be posting an OPTIONAL AC post for characters who need to double up after November's AC and thereby be cleared; though they are also free to wait to fulfill double-ups until January.

Holiday News

As a reminder, the mod team will likely be slower to respond to ongoing threads or PMs around the winter holidays! On that note, we hope each and every one of you guys has a great time.

Just a heads up that tags might be a bit slower from me until around the 18th-20th. I got woken up by the power supply in my desktop popping and dying and I have a really shitty old Acer as an emergency backup laptop filling in until I can either A) Get a laptop off someone who's said they have one on the 18th (but I'm not fully sure they'll follow through) or B) Buy a new power supply when I have funds, which will be around the 19th/20th. Ideally I'd like to do both because having a backup is necessary and all my stuff is on my desktop =( But worst case scenario is I'm SOL until I get either a new power supply or a new computer.

Since this laptop is so very, very tragic and sad, it doesn't always like to work for me. I'll tag when I can and it's possible no one will even notice a difference, but I figured I'd pop up a note for any unexplained absence, just in case this dies on me completely as well and I have no means of letting anyone know.
