I don't think there's a rule against NPCing shardbearers you're saving, so there's that, and in terms of nullification, I'm cool with saying Cullen can affect her like blood granite would - cuts off her spellcasting and access to her divine scythe, and halves her speed + strength. As well, I'm cool with her receiving injuries while she's thrown entirely off by this and with some she'd have her cue to withdraw and seek medical attention.
