That's a quote of Bess' from The White Princess. She really did change a lot, and honestly, I'm so excited for Dany to see her without that armour, that mask there between them. And to get to know Dany better in turn.

They're going to find so many parallels since GoT is at least partly based on Bess' time period in England. Here and here are some good links to give context on Bess' end. I'll look up Rhaegar and the Trident, as well.

When this is all said and done, Bess is like as not going to feel a whole lot closer to her.
