Gendry will be given a special silver metal to melt down and use in the forge. It will be big enough to create a fairly sizeable shield (although he can use it however he wishes!) and it will repel offensive magical attacks.

He will also receive a hand-sized bag of small precious jewels, in case he needs to buy anything from the surrounding towns in the future!
