NEW PLANS FOR THIS EVENT: She has a dagger and a sword so basically she'll be trying to attack these shadow things! Might try charmspeaking them and getting nowhere fast! But since one of her powers is her voice, I think she'll put two and two together and figure out that the word can make the shadows shrink back and she'll be using it liberally until someone brings some hounds by. She'll probably get a little roughed up in attacks too.
