Girl, you don't even know how great a compliment that is to the team!! We work super hard behind the scenes to give you guys something a little different from the usual comm experience:
It's our goal that every character who engages the primary story feels like the protagonist of their own story, in-game. Every single character we let through the gates carries a part of the story with them, both metaphorically and literally: and being a part of it, every single character should be able to change the story. And believe it or not, in many ways you're not even aware of yet, many of you have! And for those who love doing their own thing? It's a wide-open world, and the doings of others will only see to give it more depth!
It takes a lot of hours off-screen to document what everyone's doing, to keep track of every player's progress in the world, as well as to develop our plotting docs (currently over 80 pages of information about the world, npcs, items, artifacts, world history, and future events!). To know that the people we're doing it for enjoy it is the best feeling!
Those who are into that can look forward to a regular stream of NPC engagement henceforth! Chapter 1 (the game's first year) has set off to exactly the start we wanted, and you can rest assured that things are only going to get more interesting from there!
