Giving so much power to players comes at a great risk.

Since so many players and characters must collaborate tightly, and outcomes are dependent on wins and losses, players can get incredibly aggressive or defensive among each other. Tensions run high, and it all feels very high-stakes! And one truly good ooc conflict between parties can destroy a collaborative ooc atmosphere. Irrecoverably.

If anyone's going to get upset, we absolutely prefer that it be at us for being heavy-handed than at fellow players. Full stop. And trying to preserve the great current ooc atmosphere between the courts, even above running plots, is our top priority.

That said, you were handled roughly and brusquely; moreso than necessary, given the situation. Please accept our apology for that. :(
