Nobody has to necessarily win or lose! What happens is mostly in the hands of the Unseelie, and how they deal with being approached by the Seelie team. Lancelot has a plan that assumes he gets the wolf, of course, because nobody plans to fail, but OOCly I don't mind if he fails or if he doesn't how it happens or if everyone teams up or whatever!
