Hi fairybros,

As many of you have noticed, Eachdraidh has slowed down considerably. Real life circumstances have brought the modteam down in number to only a few, and a variety of factors have made us unable to keep up with the game the way we were once able to. Several of you have brought forth feedback, and while we had every intention of replying to those comments and of putting up the event log today, further events in our personal lives have led us to reexamine the future of the game. Upon discussion, we've reached a very difficult decision.

As of today, Eachdraidh will be closing down.

The experiences we've had in this game have been some of the most memorable of our roleplaying careers. We hope, if nothing else, that the playerbase has had fun and met some amazing people, just as we have. We can only apologize that, ultimately, we cannot keep it going.

For those who would like IC conclusions, please feel free to assume that characters either stay in the Drabwurld and continue to flourish or find a way home via magical artifacts scattered in hard to reach places of the world (or stolen and hidden in the captain's cabin of one of the pirate ships characters were meant to be engaging in combat).

Hey fairybros! I'm sure this comes as no surprise since my activity's been abysmal, but it's about time I drop Hiro and with that bow out of the game. ED's been my homegame for a year and a half (first with Ryan Evans and then with Hiro) and I've had a lot of fun here! I'm so grateful for the chance to play with a lot of fun people and also make two very different characters work in a setting so different than their own. Thank you for everything and thank you everyone for all the good times.

after a year and a half in game, and a year with Clarke, I'm sadly going to be taking my leave. it's been an amazing experience, with a whole lot of wonderful people, and I can't ever fully articulate just how thankful I am to have met all of you. this has been, hands down, the best RP experience I've ever had in my life, and I'm so glad that it was with everyone who has (and currently does) played here!

after some deliberation on plurk and a lot of uhming and ahing over what to do here, I've decided to just bite the bullet. eachdraidh has been my home game for a little over a year and while I love it to bits, my motivation for it just isn't there, so I'm dropping Merida and Terra (undeterrable) and bowing out.

Yo, Saffy here! I know it's been a while. Things are shaping up to be a very stressful next few months for me, and I'm not feeling the game. I've given it months and months but nothing's really changed. So, it's time for me and Thrall to go.

I wanted to thank you all for tagging me and making me feel welcome; I was really nervous when I first apped in and the support helped. It's been a wonderful aaalllmooost full year and I do hope to see some of you around, wherever I end up. If you'd like to keep in touch, there's always plurk!

Hey, y'all. This is Ryuu, player of Nico di Angelo and Joshua Kiryu. I have really sad news and it's that I'm dropping completely from the game.

I've really, really enjoyed my time in this game. I've been here since it first started in April and it's been a wonderful experience! Unfortunately, I can't keep up with this game for the time being. I've recently had a life-changing event and I don't know when I'll be able to focus my energy on this game again. I'm hoping that in the future, I'll be able to app back with one of these two idiot teens or even a brand new character!

For now, though, thank you to everyone who is in this game for making everything amazing. And a huge shout-out to the mods, current and old, for creating this game and keeping it moving, and putting up with my dumb questions! Love you all, and I hope you continue to enjoy the game because god knows I still do.

The Future (Past?) of The Cothromach

EDIT: Loras' mun has the fate of the Cothromach well in hand so we don't have to worry about it for the time being! Things are being discussed with the mods, we just couldn't see them because of everything being screened. Thank you everyone who showed interest. Once things get settled more discussion as to what will be going on with it can be had, but for now it is coming back and that is the important part!

Also, thank you to Loras' mun for being on top of this and you have my apologies for the confusion!

Hello Fellow Drabwurlders!

As we are all sorting out carry overs and such for the new game setting, it has come to my attention that sadly, Loras' player has left the game (though they are still on the taken list) which leaves the Cothromach without any kind of leader unless his mun made arrangements that I am not aware of before leaving. As a Shield of the Cothromach, Diarmuid obviously has an interest in the city. It is his second home in a lot of ways. It would be nice if it came back to the past like Redgate did, but I want to make sure there is still enough interest in the city before we do that. Otherwise, it can be just allowed to fade like so many other things.

Anyone who is interested in the city coming back or might be interested in leading, can you please post here and let me know? Also, if you happen to know of any arrangements Loras' player might have made before leaving, please let me know. If we have enough interest, we can post a carry over request to the mods!

The votes are in, and the wishes are many! The majority of characters chose an Alternative path, and even in those who chose Seelie or Unseelie, several key ideas kept appearing. Some wishes that came up frequently were: reconciliation between the sisters, life being able to continue, a chance for changing the system or finding an alternative life/death cycle, and being freed from fate and the iron control of the courts.

But how best to do this? How best to serve conflicting wills, to reunite divided family, to continue life, to offer a new possibility for fate? Neither Seelie, where all dies only to be reborn to the same battle, nor Unseelie, where all perishes with no chance to flourish, could serve these purposes. The Gem can only answer the many wishes at its heart by giving them all the opportunity to make them come true...

as a heads up, i will unfortunately be letting go of Flint here. i've had a lot of fun in the game, but sadly, my motivation and drive haven't been great in the past few weeks - both the game and the character deserve more time and investment than i currently have, so better to let go.

I'm sorry to do this, but I decided I should rip the band-aid off before I get any more invested in this game. I'm going to be dropping Eggsy. I think my timing for when I apped was bad, since Eggsy came in right as the plot was wrapping up, which made it difficult to throw myself into things. On top of that, I'm now doing both grad school and working full time, and I think a game this intensive requires a little more attention than I can give right now.

I loved what I did while I was here, though. You guys are great. ♥ Thanks for having me!

hi guys, i need to go on hiatus for the next two or so weeks. my work has their event coming up next sunday! it's very exciting but very stressful, and if you've been threading with me recently (or over the last two months), you may have noticed i'm a little slower than normal. my tags are probably going to dive into non-existent territory for the next week or so. apologies for holding things up. i'm aiming to be back the week after october 18.
