OCTOBER MOON EVENT PLOTTING

Okay so, Hi (again?) I’m Crin! Also known as Han Solo & Kaldur-mun, and I am here to help organize this crazy-ass moon event. Sort out match-ups and how stuff wants to go down and what have you.

SO THE FULL RUNDOWN IS HERE, because our mods are wonderful people.

ANYWAYS, browsing through the plotting comments has lead to the following observations:

At the moment, there are three-ish MAIN factions involved in this party

1. the Seelie, who want the moon back in the sky
   
2. the earth-conscious Unseelie, who also want the moon back in the sky
   and
   
3. the other Unseelie, who are actually trying to legitimately guard the death star moon from the others
   

ANYWHO I was thinking that what we should do was try to organize who wants to do what, and how we will get stuff sorted!

Soon-ish, I will talk with the mods to see about getting up a plotting gdoc as well, THE MODS ARE AMAZING AND A MORE IN-DEPTH PLOTTY GOOGLEDOC IS HERE!

But as far as figuring out basic breakdowns and stuff I figured we should organize OOC sign-ups and stuff in this post!

There will be an individual comment for each faction, so just pop in under that for role call, and feel free to poke at other people to see what's up. THIS IS THE EVENT FOR OCTOBER, and I know a lot of people have been having trouble/can have trouble getting their characters involved in the events going on, so this is also the place to say "HEY I WANT SO AND SO INVOLVED CAN YOU HELP ME SHOVE THEM OVER THERE ICLY" to which we will gladly reply "OF COURSE! /DRAGS SO-AND-SO OFF"

If everyone could comment/edit their comment with a list of their powers (or just poke in with them on the googledoc) that would be awesomesauce. ALSO everyone should keep in mind that ALL UNSEELIE are double powered and ALL SEELIE are half-powered.

While there are huge power variances on both sides without the added boost/sudden cap, do try to keep these in mind! ALSO UNSEELIE MOON-BELONGS-IN-THE-SKY-ERS! Do not be ashamed to put those extra power boosts to good use! Caves are dark and confusing! How were you supposed to know that it was actually an ally and not some random intruder sneaking up on you, eh?

okay, so as i mentioned above, korra's going to be taking this seriously because yaddayadda, princess yue, etc etc stuff in history SO! for the first part of the plot (ie, the part where the moon is a huge disk), she'll likely be sticking with her krew (jinora/mako/bolin/hermione, etc) as well as keeping touch with the demigod squad, and trying to figure out a way past the unseelie muscle guarding it. then, when the moon bolts, she and luke are going to team up and do their best to try and hunt down the moon as fast as possible (but you know, for participation's sake, not TOO fast).

This is where you come in! along the way, korra will have been keeping tabs on who's been trying to get to the moon to take it from the unseelie and return it to the sky, and will likely drag them along with her when she and luke get to hunting; extra eyes for searching, extra muscle in case of a surprise unseelie attack, you name it, korra will want her bases covered. this is open to people of both courts because as long as you want the moon returned ur all good, bruh.

the tentative plan right now is for a seelie win with luke finding the moon — but i also do not want anyone to get shut out of the fun! So if you would like your character to be found and pulled along by korra, please let me know here along with a short description of what your character is capable of doing! it can be a literal dragging or something as simple as "do u want the moon back y/n? y? then let's go!"

Volunteering Elijah to be dragged along by Korra! Since he needs to get into place to stop Katherine Pierce from killing Clarisse.

He's Seelie, ftr. And an immortal vampire (with super strength/speed/senses, all that jazz and also mind control on ordinary humans/vampires from his own canon) who can't die unless he's staked with a specific type of wood, even with the power nerf.

Aubri will be around, as well, looking to get the moon back where it belongs. As for powers - he's big and strong, has hella good eyesight, and can fly.

You want eyes in the sky, right? Right.

I would love for Diarmuid to be grabbed as well! Even at half power, he is going to be very fast and agile. He might be good for keeping a look out or being a scout!

He is also very hard to hurt being a Servant. The only way the can die is to have their heart/head destroyed. Comes in handy sometimes. LOL!

Depending on how things go, he might have a member or two of his group still with him, but we will have to see when the times comes. Likely, they will want to come along too.

This group member would be happy to come along! Given that he's both at half power and he doesn't have his blob-shaped mercury buddy, he's not going to be a heavy hitter, necessarily, but he's crafty and can use illusion and magic-infused traps to potentially make the chase easier if he finds a way to go ahead.
