SEPTEMBER BOON REQUESTS

A little late again, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!





Wherever Shardbearer characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th SEPTEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held in October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who managed to find a feather of any kind gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BOON REQUEST: Corn from Aman! This is a carefully guarded and cultivated plant in Nerdanel's native homeland with knowledge given directly from the Vala Yavanna herself, though some was brought to Middle-earth by the Noldor and cared for with equal solemnity. Although it can be eaten straight, when ground into flour, it is the primary base for the Elvish waybread lembas. It does have mild regenerative properties, able to sustain those who consume it for long periods of time, and can help the sick or wounded recover.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: If not some corn, Nerdanel would like to have one of her small statues from home, preferably one she made of her whole family that would sit on her workstation.
