Hey folks! My name is Ted and I'm brand new to the game. I've brought with me someone a bit odd, this is John aka J.R.R. Tolkien from the book series The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica. Yes he's that J.R.R. Tolkien, though his PB is Craig Olejnick, and he's youngish (he's finishing work on The Hobbit from his canon point).
His series is about him, Charles Williams and C.S. Lewis teaming up to protect the world and the Archipelago of Dreams from each other and crazy people that would like to rule both. The Archipelago is the world that's home to myths and legends pretty much, full of islands that up until John and Co. came into the Archipelago was only navigable by reading the Imaginarium Geographica, the one almost complete atlas of it, which was written in a number of different languages and only trained Caretakers were able to read it. John is one of them! Which means he (for once) has the Geographica on him and he's fresh from discovering how the myth of King Arthur in his world isn't like what's in the books.
This book series is basically "how many authors and fictional characters of theirs can we shove into seven books".
He's from The Indigo King for the canon familiar, post all of that lovely adventure and he's ready to get home to his family. He's also Seelie, because a Caretaker doesn't like to cause chaos.
