VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR PLOT THINGS

While Saralegui was in Treun, he was given a task by Tzilan to travel to Troichean Beinn and find out whether the Doorway To Beyond is still there (whatever that is). Our native friend Red will be acting as a guide and informant, but Sara's gonna be looking to expand their party a bit for this quest (partially because it'd be a fun way to get new CR, but mostly because he'll lose his mind if stuck alone with Red for a prolonged period of time).

So we're looking for volunteers to join in on this plot! Sara is Unseelie but isn't particularly playing for either side in this, so if any Seelie characters are interested then we could still work something out. He will, however, be looking for some level of protection, so characters that can fight or who have useful special abilities are preferred!

OOCly, I'd like to give priority to new characters and especially new players so they can have a chance to get involved in things. If your character's been around a while but you still really want to get them involved then feel free to hit me up, but let the newer characters have a chance first. Also, please keep in mind that these plots tend to be fairly fast-paced and complicated, so please only volunteer if you're gonna be able to be active! Real life happens and we understand, but if you think you're gonna have to take a hiatus in the middle of the plot or something then this might not be the plot for you. Check out some of the logs from past events to get an idea of the pace!

They'll likely want to go after the mooncatching event is over, and between travel and general Troichean Beinn shenanigans, characters can expect to be away for a few weeks. Sara will be making a post soon to recruit some party members, so there will be an opportunity to work things out ICly even if we haven't ever threaded before.

I might be interested! I'm super new, so I'm still eyeing all the events that are happening throughout October, but Katsa's Unseelie and definitely has some super useful abilities (she's literally superpowered with survival) if she winds up wanting to go.

I'm an older player with a somewhat older character, so, feel free to pass me up! I can easily have him tag along to be a bodyguard and then ditch to see the dwarves, or perhaps just go another time. it really doesn't bother me!

Gabranth here is Seelie, but he's new enough that he's not feeling any loyalty to either side, so he'd volunteer his service if it means finding out what the heck a Door to Beyond could be! he's also a very skilled warrior, if it helps his chances :)

I'm the lowest priority since I've been here since the start, but if you still have room I might be interested in having Javik tag along! I'm mostly curious if this will interfere with the halloween event, though?

Travel alone will likely take almost two weeks, they'll leaving right after the moonfall event and probably sticking around at least through October, so it's pretty much guaranteed to conflict with the Halloween event.

That's what I figured. I have more OOC than IC reasons for him to attend the ball anyways, so if you've got room, I'd rather send him on this trip! Something called the Doorway to Beyond sounds like a way out, so he'd be curious.

I'll send Geralt if you're willing to have him (since he isn't doing the moon event). He's Unseelie and pretty useful, and the Door will likely get his attention.

Hmm! He may. I think it depends on what is said. He is pretty neutral, so he's definitely looking more for a way back to his world, and I guess anything that may hint at a door, or a place that may be partial to more mysterious qualities would get him interested.

Alternatively, if nothing at all is mentioned about what may being going on, he may also offer his witcher services to a traveling group, I guess???

Sara's recruitment post is already up, if you want to see exactly how it was said! He's being pretty quiet about the details right now but they'll probably come out over the course of actually getting to Troichesafjda.
