SAMHAIN PLOTTING

Hi everyone, Gadgets here! A few people on Plurk had expressed interest in an ooc post to do plotting for the hippest party of the year, and I figured hey, I'm procrastinating at work, why not throw one up? (That said, please let me know if I'm stepping on any toes!) As per the calendar:

"Everything in the drabwurld stops for Samhain, and this year it will pass from the 25th to the 30th, each new day simply an extension of a misted, starry night, devoid of sun or moon! All feuds are forgotten over Samhain in favor of avoiding the Black Shuck instead, whose shall prowl the drabwurld in search of spirits who have escaped him. His power is so immense that to make his hunting easier, he has altered the manner of the world for these nights; a single step might unwittingly take one out of their room in a castle to a remote forest, from one coast to another... anywhere in the drabwurld. It is custom that all wear masks and behave differently so that they are not made his targets, and all folk, from the loftiest kings to the lowest servants, engage in revelry. All crimes committed in this time are pardoned. Many NPCs (including the monarchs!) will be engaged in this event, and Black Shuck himself will walk among the revelers! At the end of this festival, characters wind up wherever on the map they desire to be."

So! Five days of masked fun and neutrality, along with rubbing elbows with the NPCs and a free pass to commit crime! Also a big scary dog and accidental teleportation.

So! Look for dance partners, partners-in-crime, someone to make out with behind a bush, or someone to go exploring with while the world is altered and it's easy! But most of all, have fun!

Outfit: She will be quite possibly one of the most difficult-to-miss people in attendance in her steampunk-chic ensemble! Her long red hair will be elaborately braided with brass chains. Here is her mask, choker, bodice/gauntlets, pants, bustle, and boots. ...yes, those are 4" heels on those boots, boosting her height to a full 6'7". She is likely to be gorgeous and terrifying at the same time.

Activities: She will most likely be flanked by her three sons, glowering and looming over anyone who gives their mom unseemly looks. But, if you're not intimidated by the Feanorians, anyone is welcome to ask her for a dance or chat with her. Really, everyone needs to come say "hi" to ElfMom. Make friends. Get hugs. Whatever. And I will die of massive, delighted giggles if someone gets a legit crush on her because of this

Other: Not quite sure yet how she'll modify her behavior. Normally, she is a very kind, warm, maternal presence. Maybe she'll up the scary factor. Maybe she'll turn coquettish. Might depend on who seeks her out.

Maglor is kind of his bro, so he should probably meet Elfmom at some point! Hugs will be rejected, but Javik could be coerced into a dance (and he'll be like a foot shorter than her lmfao)

It's OK, hugs are not required! Dancing is welcome. And pretty much everyone except her kids is shorter than she is. :)

Hibari would certainly come wonder at her clothes [looking up, as a full foot shorter than she]! I think he'll just be full of questions in general, and while he wouldn't ask to dance, he'd be near enough to chat with.

Rest assured, Lancelot would likely ask her to dance. Then, he'll awkwardly dance with Celegorm likely because he'll be fairly surprised the guy is alive all of a sudden.
