+1 lord of the linefaces and +1 master of calibrations

Now that my initial flailing is out of the way... I'm Kalan, and I'm beyond stoked to be here. I'm bringing in two characters who have... very little in common beyond the fact that their names have the same amount of syllables.

The first of these is Garrus Vakarian from the feel-good Bioware space opera video game series Mass Effect. Long story short, he's a former space cop turned space vigilante, turned one of the highest ranking officers in his planet's military. Personality-wise, he'd like you to think he's 100% badass, but the truth is that he's actually a giant dork (who still can pull out the badassery from time to time). He's coming from pretty early on in Mass Effect 3, which means he's just been pulled out of a pretty nasty warzone, so he'll definitely be worrying about a lot of things/people. His app is over here and I'll be throwing him up on the log ASAP.

My second character is Stannis Baratheon from Geroge R R Martin's A Neverending Story A Song of Ice and Fire. To those unfamiliar with the canon, Stannis is basically the rightful heir to the throne, but no one wants him to be king because at some point he lost the ability to ever feel happiness, and is an all-around miserable guy who just really likes to do his duty (and is kinda a history and dragon fanboy but shhh). He also resorts to some pretty crazy magic to get the throne that he doesn't want, all the while joining a religion he doesn't believe in, because his love for duty is just that insane. To those familiar with the canon... you know what I mean. He's from pretty early on in the BOOK series (so if you're only familiar with the show, there's a few key differences in his personality), and he's not going to be happy to hear about ANY of the recent events in Westeros. HORRAY Javik's favorite turian!! He's going to be so disappointed that Garrus is in the Seelie court. What a wimp. And a nerd. Sadly Javik's knowledge of what happens won't be much comfort to him at all haha. So yeah, hi, I never technically introduced myself before, but I'm Fastback! I am totally looking forward to this.

sadly I don't have any good ones for Javik. :'(

I'd say Javik is Garrus' favourite prothean but since he's the ONLY prothean he's ever met, that's not saying much. :'( Likewise Garrus will be unimpressed that the only person he knows just HAS to be on the opposite side like he really REALLY doesn't want to fight friends or find out if protheans really do eat turian.

It's great to (officially) meet you and I just can't wait for the two of them to interact and for once Garrus can actually call something primative. 8D

Javik's not really going to be into the whole war for awhile, so he won't be tempted to kill and eat Garrus immediately. He'll just lament the fact that he left all his good recipes back on the Normandy.

We could probably have them meet up at the Station? Javik will at least respond to Garrus if he shows up on the network. And this place is beyond primitive, NOW YOU UNDERSTAND HIS PAIN.
