Winter Party Planning Post

Hi everyone, Meg/Waver-mun here. As the Calendar of Events indicated, there’s going to be a holiday party over at the Barrel on 19 December.

The long and short of it is that the party will be open to both courts, and amount to an excuse for everyone to hang out around a giant bonfire, have snowball fights, enjoy some excellent food, and hang out.

However, to make sure everyone has a good time, I wanted to ensure that there was a space for everyone to ask questions, make suggestions either in term of decorations, spaces to be made available for activities etc., and plot.

The announcement of the party over the network will be handwaved, and the log itself will go up on Wednesday, December 17th.

A note: Unlike Samhain, where transportation wasn’t a problem, everyone will have to get to the Barrel out in Nihm Gleanne under their own steam. There is a thread here for those who would like to offer taxi services.

Saber will to see to there being ample spirits and real egg nog. She may enlist Rider's help.

Also, her trio of mischievous imps will also be encouraging the mistletoe from Caer Scima to find its way to The Barrel, assuming Waver hasn't warded it out.

It won't be warded out. But it will be placed in only one area so that people can avoid it if need be like Waver.

This just means two drunken kings will bodily throw Waver into the area at some point and block the door so he can't immediately bolt.

Damon will likely wind up there because bored vampires are sad, tragic things. But alcohol will be a draw, as well as partying and dancing. I'll likely have him drag along at least two of his loaned servants so he doesn't have to feed on anyone at the party, but hey, if someone wants to offer...

Mally will not be going =( Parties are for losers humans. Lame, guys.

Stiles might be talked into it if someone he knows is going.

If Damon gives a heads up and doesn't mind non-human blood, there can be something on hand for him! Waver and Saber are getting some game, and the blood will have to go.
