Winter Party Planning Post

Hi everyone, Meg/Waver-mun here. As the Calendar of Events indicated, there’s going to be a holiday party over at the Barrel on 19 December.

The long and short of it is that the party will be open to both courts, and amount to an excuse for everyone to hang out around a giant bonfire, have snowball fights, enjoy some excellent food, and hang out.

However, to make sure everyone has a good time, I wanted to ensure that there was a space for everyone to ask questions, make suggestions either in term of decorations, spaces to be made available for activities etc., and plot.

The announcement of the party over the network will be handwaved, and the log itself will go up on Wednesday, December 17th.

A note: Unlike Samhain, where transportation wasn’t a problem, everyone will have to get to the Barrel out in Nihm Gleanne under their own steam. There is a thread here for those who would like to offer taxi services.

The event's date has already been cleared with the mods, unfortunately, and there's other things going on with the courts later in the month. It really can't be changed.

Oh, no, I'm not saying that the date should changed, sorry for the bad wording. I'm looking at the calendar and it says the boons are delivered on the 15th, and the party is on the 19th. So I was trying to say that maybe after the boons are done we could say "hey eveyrone, if your character just got something traveling related, remember we're looking for taxis here!" as a quick reminder or something.
