So You Want to Be a Wizard? Ask This Girl Here
S'UP PEEPS My name's Tai and I'm new here! I already know a lot of you, but I'm happy to meet even more! I'm coming into the game bringing one Nita Callahan from Diane Duane's excellent book series Young Wizards. Nita's fifteen and has honestly been through a lot, lot, lot more than she looks like she has, so don't worry too much about her being a fragile snowflake. She's more likely to use wizardry to chuck rocks at your head.
Yup, Nita's a wizard, of a very different school/tech/progression than the more traditional HP-style wizards; her magic's much more based on science than anything. You'll see Nita carrying a book everywhere, and if you can't find her odds are good she's in a library. Her canon's really complicated to condense down to quick terms so I'm going to link you to her info post if you want more information; it has links to both her application and a long, involved, very detailed overview of how wizardry works in her series. She'll be on the Seelie side, looking to help solve problems.
