FUCKITY HI
Heeeey Drabwurld. I'm Ronen, I'm totally new around here, and this... this is Malcolm.

Malcolm is from a show called The Thick of It, which you might know as that thing people started pulling quotes from to put on Doctor Who screencaps as soon as Peter Capaldi was announced as the new Doctor. In case you don't know it at all, The Thick of It is a political comedy, and Malcolm Tucker himself is a master of spin tasked with sorting out the ineptitude and chaos the other characters blunder their way into on an episodic basis. Needless to say he's not a very cheerful person, but fuck if he isn't fun to watch.
He's in the Seelie court here by virtue of basically being a Lawful Evil character, and because he'll probably hate the people in Seelie less than he would hate the people in Unseelie. He hates a lot of people. I'll try not to apologize too much (I've played assholes before - it gets repetitive). He's also being dropped into Daonna rather than the castle, because I'm a helpful player.
I do have one housekeeping thing before I dive into his IC intro, and it has to do with fourthwalling.
Since Malcolm comes from a world that's basically ours and has a decent grasp on pop culture (albeit not without some holes), he does make the odd reference. In other words, he's a walking fourth-wall puncture threat.
This really only counts for things that are well-known in pop culture and not super recent (since Malcolm comes from 2012). Because of Eachdraidh's policy on fourthwalling in general, I'm going to try and keep Malcolm as IC as possible without directly referencing any canons in front of someone involved - unless you're okay with that. To make things simpler, this is an opt-in rather than an opt-out.
So if you think your character's from a mainstream enough canon, go over here and lemme know if you're all right with Malcolm making off-handed remarks or direct references to it where they can hear.
And that's it! Come find me at
RoRodiculous on plurk if you want to chat.
