BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shardbearer characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 15th DECEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 15th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

This month, everybody who hunted for the Hart gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon.

uh oh, reynard better watch out! i'm totally cool with a wildcard, then, particularly anything disgustingly festive as clarisse is a big grinch when it comes to the yuletide season.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: In this case, Guido is also okay since they're both hers. Beyond that, the only thing I think she's concretely ask for his one of her automaton dogs. So basically, if none of those fly, wildcard it.

BOON REQUEST: Faolan would request a way to travel more easily. He has the magical earring that lets him travel between Caer Glaem and Caer Scima, but as his recent experiences revealed, he's still severely limited compared to others when it comes to travel at large. If he is to be useful at all, he'd like a way to move around quicker than bothering someone else to give him a ride every time he needs to do so.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I'm really unsure of how I would like this to translate, just that I would really like him to get something to help him travel faster, as would Faolan. It hadn't mattered so much, back home, since everyone else was human, but here in this place he's feeling ridiculously slow and. Well, ill-equipped. I'm really unsure as to what they might give him either. Brucolac had the puca so Faolan would probably have something like that in mind, an animal to help him travel and ideally so that he could take another person with him if necessary, because other than Hermione's inherent powers and his Glaem/Scima earring that's the only thing he's experienced. But ideally he wouldn't be getting a puca especially since he spends so much time at Caer Glaem. I don't know whether a Cleg or something like that is possible for him, since he's Unseelie in a Seelie court and since that creature is so rare. Other possible alterations are more enchanted artifacts that aid in travel everywhere or... IDK I AM SORRY I am bad at thinking these things up. In Faolan's defense/favor, he did just help retrieve at least one of the pieces of Reynard's heart, and anything along these lines would help him both do the queen's bidding and protect Lancelot, who is dear to her? >>

Clara will be given a plain golden ring marked with runes on opposite sides! When one rune is turned up, the ring will flash, and she'll be clad in magical armor! To remove it, she need only twist her ring so that said rune is facing down.

She'll also be given a handsome crown of holly and mistletoe, and the door of her room decorated with a holly wreathe.

BOON REQUEST: A means to contact any beings that live underwater like myself here.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: November's swim-and-rescue got Kaldur nostalgic for home in Atlantis, so if there are any Atlantis-like places around in the Drabwurld, he'd love to find away to talk with the people who live there! (As he assumes he can swim to the location himself).

BOON REQUEST: This being Remus's first boon, he isn't sure what to request, but after a moment's thought, he will probably simply say that he would like something to aid him in aiding his friends, and let the Powers That Be make of that what they will.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: While not a complete wildcard, I'm leaving this pretty open for interpretation! Remus doesn't really know what he wants, just that Harry and Hermione have some pretty serious dilemmas they are facing up against these days, and while he may not exactly be their guardian, he is their elder, their professor, and he feels responsible for them, even if they are older than he remembers them being. This can manifest itself in any way you see fit - an item, a piece of knowledge, or perhaps something that will simply help him help them feel more like regular 20-year-olds and spare them from all the shit they have going on for a few brief, glorious moments?

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Hm. I totally get if that might be a bit much? Magic book and all that they still don't know the full story behind in canon. So. Otherwise, perhaps something to help with travel? Since she will want something faster than a normal horse to explore everything. That or her wedding ring from Charming that she initially stole.
