QUEST & NPC APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENTS!
Hello fairybros! STILL MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS!
Quests!
Firstly, as a reminder, characters who rank highly in influence are able to begin assigning quests of their own! Two such players have already made their own dedicated quest-boards for players. Characters accepting these quests still post to the Quest Request page (whether it is opened or closed!) so that the mod team has a documentation of participation. Here are some handy-dandy links:
All current quest requests should be responded to over the next few days! We apologize for the long delay, but there's been a great deal going on in-game and behind the scenes. As a note and reminder, quests have 30 days for completion after assignment. There is no guarantee of success for high-level quests, and IC conduct can result in the loss of influence.
NPC Account Applications!
To help broaden the opportunity for the general playerbase to get quality npcing for their quests, events, travels, and general doings in the drabwurld, we have created a general npc account for player use!

At present, we have opened applications for individuals who desire to be able to play minor or nonessential npcs against their fellow players to gain access to this account. Until this system can be thoroughly tested, the mod team will likely only be accepting three candidates: however, it is very likely that we will open applications up for more come spring, should this system work out well in the meantime.
What should I expect out of this NPC account?
Primarily one-shot minor npcs, such as villagers, soldiers, monsters, and various natives interacting at a low-level through single threads or logs.
Could players request minor NPCing in their logs?
Absolutely! Simply PM your request to the mod account. NPCing subject to availability and so on.
How is this different from adding an NPC mod?
This option keeps information on the metaplot and control of major NPCs in the hands of the current moderating team, and allows the huge majority of current npcing needs (minor interactions) to be shared around a larger group of people with the least amount of work necessary to introduce people to the task. It is very likely that individuals who utilise this NPC account exceptionally may be asked to join the current NPC mod.
I feel uncomfortable with an anonymous player NPCing with me!
Individuals who accept this role will only NPC by request! This is an opt-in mechanism, not an opt-out one!
