Hey, fairybros! For the January event we'll be releasing some information on the IC calendar! Last year in-game was year 2,700 in the Age of Uncertain Heavens, one of many recorded ages of the drabwurld! As of the new year, 2,701, whispers of the War's return to the severity of old will begin to come true! ...
The Heavens Speak of Futures GENRE: MYSTERY/STRATEGY/MAGIC | DURATION: 05-19 JANUARY |
SUMMARY Those who have kept their fallen stars shall find that they become active again, trembling and crying out to those who they have bonded with in fear! These shardbearers shall receive special visions of great calamity given to them by their star: and for the duration of January will be able to enter the dreams of others to share their visions. Please comment in the section below with a link to your character collecting their star to receive a vision!
The Unseelie monarchs have been moved to re-establish great guarding fortifications throughout Dorchadas: massive magical black spires, each well-guarded, built with the magical assistance of Aellyn elves. The call will go out to all Unseelie shardbearers to return to Caer Scima to aid in the war effort by:
+ training with fellow shardbearers for battle
+ drilling with native soldiers
+ helping to raise and give magical wards to the new fortifications
+ acting as scouts along the southern border, which has recently been overcome by Seelie forces
Meanwhile, back in Caer Glaem, the Seelie monarchs will issue their forces to begin marching to the Cathraon to begin massive military maneuvers. They also set out a call to their own shardbearers, bidding them to gather along the massive battleplain where lavish tents have been set aside for their use for the purpose of using the month to:
+ train with fellow shardbearers for battle
+ drill with native soldiers
+ help to arm and provide supplies for the army
+ act as scouts and spies in Unseelie territory and on Unseelie movements

MONTHLY OVERVIEW
The next Calendar of Events post will go up toward the end of January to cover all of February, with the next Test Drive Meme up around a week before reserves open. Weather will be bursts of blue skies between hard driven snows and a mid-month blizzard. Nights are frigid, with feet of snow sticking in most areas of Dorchadas.01ST JANUARY The New Year! The halls of each court will be strewn with coloured ribbons and a small feast will be held with music. In-game year is now 5701 in the Age of Uncertain Heavens.
05th JANUARY • EVENT STARTS.
07th JANUARY • AUDIENCE WITH THE MONARCHS.
07th JANUARY • A fairy or imp will get the attention of each Seelie or Unseelie to inform them of the royal decree to aid the war effort!
14th JANUARY • Word penetrates both courts that the Seven Star Oracle of Leathann has been slain after predicting the end of the drabwurld, purportedly by a shardbearer. Native anti-court sentiments reach the point of public demonstration in most cities, opposed by small pockets of fervently pro-court supporters.
15th JANUARY • VOTE ON WHETHER THE GAME SHALL TIMESKIP IN APRIL!
19th JANUARY • 1) EVENT CLOSES. Those who have contributed to the efforts of their court will be marked! 2) Native elven hostilities against vampires in Glaschu result in a night-exodus of many vampires heading north along the Astar into Dorchadas, forsaking homes to avoid possible war with the newly-formed elven kingdom! Rumors persist of a massive conclave and military mustering of vampires at the Sentinels.
20th JANUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) • 1) RESERVES OPEN. 2) The boon request post goes up on the OOC community. You will be asked to state your character's request and link to proof of having participated in the event. Mods will be around to approve or deny these.
24th JANUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) • 1) APPS OPEN. 2) Boon requests close!
25th JANUARY • Approved or altered, boons are ICLY received today when characters wake up unless otherwise specified.
26th JANUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) • ACTIVITY CHECK.
27th JANUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) • RESERVES END. FFA BEGINS.
01st FEBRUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) • ACTIVITY CHECK ENDS.
01st FEBRUARY (00:01am LONDON GMT) APPS CLOSE.

Caveat that if you use the quest as the bulk of your boon activity, the mods request you go decently over the quest word limit since you are profiting off it twice, but if you do something else (like training etc) and use that for boon then it'd be fine! c:
