Hello Eachdraidh, my name is Silas, and I play this loser over here. I'm brand new meat into this game, but not into dwrp. I like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, long walks on the beach, and pirates. Specifically Pirates of the Caribbean. Specifically Jack Sparrow.

Anyways for those of you who've never seen the movies, or those of you who haven't seen the movies in a million years, Jack Sparrow is pretty much a stereotype of what a pirate is. He likes things like freedom and rum and his ship (his ship, not Barbossa's), the bestest and fastest ship in the whole entire world, The Black Pearl.

Which, hey. I hear is in the game.

Oh no, Legolas, don't think you're off the hook. Your face is similar enough to Will's that Jack could plausibly get right up in his personal space, squint his eyes and do the whole, "you look vaguely familiar, have I threatened you before" thing.

Because I do love me some appearance confusion.

Especially since, despite the fact that pirates have taken over my intro page, Jack is currently a lone canon warrior.

Technically he is, yes! In practise he and Thranduil have made their own kingdom that they fucked off to aha they still fight on the Seelie side when absolutely necessary (this time bc shit happened between native elves and vampires), but otherwise they give zero fucks to be officially involved. |D

So...! One way or another it shall happen, yessss we shall make it work hehe

Oh, I'm sure it won't be long before Jack also fucks off and does his own thing. After all, he's a pirate, and what's in it for him, fighting and laying down his life for someone he doesn't know or care for???? He'll hang around long enough to get the Pearl, and maybe a few other things as boons, but after that, naaaaaaah.

But continuing from the derailment up there, Lusiphur is very Unseelie in a lot of the same ways Jack is. He'll be willing to catch Jack up in the goings on and a sure way of manipulating the system... just before the war hits. Luckily, Lusiphur has no desire to be a captain (he was a sailor for idk 10-20 years, and in that scenario, he takes orders just fine.) but having steady work that pays is good. No reason not to be a pirate.

Yes, good, Jack will definitely need someone to catch him up to speed, especially if there's a battle to be fought. Even better if it's someone who knows how to fuck the system over.

I have a feeling they're going to get along very well.

Lusiphur could probably benefit from Jack's ingenuity tbqh. The elf has a plan for how to get the most out of the monarchs while doing as little work as possible, but it needs some polishing. Luse has been playing along with the war games for a little while, but he has his own agenda.... whiiiich basically narrows down to "Make money. Drink booze. Tell the fairies to fuck off."

Both Jack and Luse are delightfully clever, so I think they'll get along brilliantly.

To be fair, that's a very good agenda, and one Jack will 100% subscribe to.

I'm excited for them to interact /chinhands
