Zack Fair will be in Leathann for a good part of the month, likely questing and helping out. When the event rolls around, he WILL pitch in and help because he is a good soldier like that.
Aslan will also be in Leathann because his 3-star quest (to be started in the next few days, hopefully) to save some kids will be happening in that area. I may or may not throw him at event things, depending on how his quest unfolds.
