Hello fairybros! The buddy system strikes again!

As before, we'd like those of you with the inclination to step forward and offer your help to new players to fill out the form below and post it in the comments. Offer ways to get engaged, easy CR, or even just a friendly face to turn to OOCly if someone needs clarifications! Volunteer to be a buddy!

CHARACTER NAME: Kirei Kotomine
COURT: The Diamond Coterie
WHAT MY CHARACTER'S UP TO: He's become the Minister of Religious and Spiritual Affairs for the floating island of Leathann, he runs two churches in the Drabwurld including an orphanage, and he's just beginning to build a new church!
HOW I CAN HELP:
OOC-ly. I can help with quests, and pass on any game world information I know (usually about Gods, since Kirei's a priest) that I've either picked up over time or asked the mods about! If you have any general questions that pop up, though, I can probably either answer them or point you in the right direction. :) If you're not sure where to ask a question on the game pages, I can help with that!

IC-ly. Kirei's churches and the orphanage are open to all Courts for character involvement, he runs quests that characters can do for rewards/favor, and he can offer money and support for character efforts. He does a ton with religious worship and studying the Gods of the Drabwurld if that is something a character is interested in! He can also help out with teaching martial arts and magic—specifically shard training and healing magic, though he's also got Bible magic that sort of twists limbs off and terrible cursed blood that makes you think of death... :,)

Kirei is also here for the villains and corruption club. He worships the Void—aka the giant literal void that almost destroyed the entire universe—and will probably be starting a cult to it eventually. So dark things like that, cult things, curses, yes.
ADVICE TO NEW PLAYERS: Don't be afraid to ask the mods questions whenever you may have them! Have fun in the setting and really get involved. Find a place or a purpose for your character and work for it! Don't shy away from testing out any ideas—they just might be possible!

WHAT MY CHARACTER'S UP TO: She's recently become a Spear of Leathann, and she's a teacher and instructor in magic and weaponry, while also being a member of the Red Hand. As of now, she's shifting between Diasbaile/Chateau du Rêveur and the island.
HOW I CAN HELP: OOCLY I'm looking to open up a quest board in December if that's what you're after (likely about Leathann and information gathering; it's a new world out there and much they don't know about), and pass on any game information that I know since I've been here for over a year oocly.

ICLY Merida has been in the Drabwurld going on three years, and knows a fair bit. This world is like her homeworld, so if your character needs help settling in, or even a few lessons in Gaelic, she'll be happy to provide. Being shardless means that courts don't matter to her and she can go where she wants. She's also recently taken to teaching magic and weaponry - specifically runes (fate/ kind), fire or blizzard; archery, swordsmanship, or polearms. Needing to survive is also a thing and she can teach basic hunting skills.
ADVICE TO NEW PLAYERS: echoing Ginko; don't be afraid to ask questions! the mods are there to help, as are older players. tag out, don't sit there twiddling your thumbs hoping to get a slice of plot pie. throw your ideas out there! you might get a bite c:

WHAT MY CHARACTER'S UP TO: Opening an inn, as well as a gallery, in Diasbaile, working as the Midach (minister of health) for the Amethyst Circle, joining the Spectral Court, and working as a captain in the Red Hand mercenary group.
HOW I CAN HELP:

★ I've been a player here since the August before last! I tend to read the game pages a lot so I'm like a walking Eachdraidh encyclopedia. If you have questions, I probably have the answers. c:
★ I can help you with a wide variety of things: game mechanics, answer HTML coding questions for your journal, shower you with pictures of cute animals.................
★ Help you with long term plans, plotting goals, and otherwise helping you figure out your best direction/get settled!

ICLY!
★ Clarke is called the Midach; this is, essentially the Minister of Health! If your character is medically inclined and wants to find their footing pursuing that, I'm happy to set that up.
★ Her CR network is vast across all courts/other shardless people! She can recommend your characters good people to talk to about the Drabwurld, the history of it, its politics, etc. If your character has an area of focus, she can probably direct them to someone if she's unable to help on her own.
★ Magic lessons! Clarke knows healing magic, rune magic, and a few other things as well. If your character is from a technological world and are having a tough time adjusting to not having the same weaponry/abilities available here, she can offer to get them started on magic.
★ Red Hand connections! Clarke is a Captain in the Red Hand (reports directly to the Commanders, who run the group) and can get characters connected for membership.
★ Clarke can also send characters on quests! If you're interested in questing, I can help you with that, too. c:

ADVICE TO NEW PLAYERS:
★ Take quests! It's the fastest way to get involved and occasionally leads to team quests that will grant you an expanded CR circle.
★ Don't be afraid to ask questions. All of us were new at some point, and both old players and the mods are always here to answer your questions and help you out. ♥
★ Tag out! Network posts are great for quick and easy connections, and open logs are an awesome way to foster CR with someone. There are also always tons of open headers during event logs.
