Canon: A Tolkien character, from The Silmarillion- aka, Elven Ancient History
Current status in game: Celegorm is a mover-and-shaker, been rubbing elbows with everyone and has so far organized an outing to explore the area immediately outside of the castle, and to put together an organized effort to take care of the Lambton Worms.

If your character took part in the feast at all, he likely at least said hello; and apart from that has been all over the place, taking stock of arms, trying to put together practical weapons training for those without it, and so on.

Otherwise, he's probably been around the stables, the mews, and hanging out with the houndsmen. If you think your character and he might be chummy, he'd likely invite them out on a hunt, to tutor them in archery, or to just ~go exploring~. He hates being cooped up!

Any current or future plans: He's been taking note of the manner of his fellow shard-holders, and is likely going to be approaching potentially interested/helpful individuals about putting together a formal company of warriors and support staff to actually take initiative against their enemies.

Recent open threads or posts: No open threads, but I'm happy to make them!
Desired CR: + Relationships with other go-getters!

Basically, it's going to become quickly apparent that fuck all's gonna be happening around the castle proper, so he's going to be scouting various settlements as potential discreet outposts. :) I'm gonna do some open threads in various areas and see what crops up!

Waver reminds him so much of his family that Celegorm will probably become a staple sight at Waver's elbow. /)_(\ Sorry, Lord El-Melloi, you've inherited a younger sibling you probably don't want.

Celegorm can work minor magic, but if it's clear Waver's willing to be an instructor, he would LEAP at the chance to learn more!

Waver is going to be a little surprised, but he is also not going to question it. If Celegorm thinks Waver's worth giving respect to, it can only be returned.

Oh yes to instructing, whenever Waver decides to go, "also I'm a mage." I am not too confident with how Tolkein magic works, so I'd definitely want to read up to generate ideas.

He really needs cooling and calming influence from people like Waver; and coming from a big family, he's going to reach out a lot to avoid homesickness. And Waver is certainly

Tolkien magic is very.... very shortly-described; at best you can think of it as an application of will to affect one's self or environment. At this point, Celegorm can do small things related to wilderness survival, but also cast spells which utterly change his appearance, voice, etc.

Waver will try to be the best adult then, although he's not used to anything like a big family. The contrast should be interesting.

And okay, that helps. I like to check in with magic across canons since Nasuverse magecraft is both extremely specific and hugely vague, as well as predicated on a genetic component.

I like what we have going so far. Celegorm is exactly the sort of capable person that Ganondorf likes. The whole looking-like-a-hylian thing is a downer. But no one is perfect. I think they make a good duo for making the Unseelie prepared, even if one of them isn't doing it for the right reasons.

I like it as well! Celegorm's an ideal SIC-- he values loyalty and service to greater causes, and has a lot of forward momentum. Ganondorf might also be pleased to find that Celegorm is... distinctly un-Hylian in his moral code.

Well Ganondorf's opinion of Hylians are "lazy fatasses who get all that awesome wind and won't share it". So Celegorm should easily qualify outside that category!
