How? Easy!

I actually want to foster a nurturing relationship between these two, since Mako will probably end up reminding Aang of Katara and Sokka, who are the closest things he has to caretakers at the moment. He needs someone who's ready to make sure he doesn't hurt himself by accident.

great! mako kind of needs someone to look after, i think, what with bolin not here and le awkward with korra (love is hard, dude.), so that would be suPER beneficial.

also aang's apartments are like 90 times bigger than mako's, can he come hang out at your pad?

Aang is happy to be the not-confusing relationship in Mako's life! So long as he doesn't think too hard about the fact that Mako and his future life totally have a thing, he's a-okay.
