Boon Requests

Hey, guys! The Lambton Worms event has now officially ended (feel free to keep backtagging, of course!), with the remaining few either slithering off or burrowing far away from sight. Those royal proclamations are now being followed up on!

Wherever Shard-holder characters are today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item or power from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here (starting tomorrow!) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th April there is no fuss, no muss! Later that day is when the first NPC post will be posted on the OOC community. ICly, the fairies/imps will let your character know when the royal audience will be taking place (and if you cannot make it to your respective throne-room, the lockets will be employed for a royal chat). Characters cannot make direct requests in the throne-room log, so if you are uncertain whether your boon is passable just leave a mention here of any alterations you would be happy for it to undergo, to give us an idea of how to approach any problems.

Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) wherein your character is battling the worms or tending to the injured/fortifying the castles. Anything where support has been shown for your faction will qualify for a boon. Boon Requests will be left open for 3 days until 00:01am 23rd London GMT. This will give the mod team time to sort through everything and ensure everyone has their boons arranged OOC in time to receive them IC.

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

NUMBER OF WORMS SLAIN: on his own, two big ones, several smaller ones. due to his firebending, he also helped numerous other fighters with killing burns, as he was the main fire manipulator at the castle.
BOON REQUEST: his rcpd patrol motorcycle, so he can move around more
ALTERATIONS: lok is described as being part steampunk genre , and as mechanical advancements have been made to fit around the pre-existing bending in universe (i.e. lightninbending for the power plant). mako's bike is in this low technology setting, but still is driven by mechanical rules of propulsion, a two stroke engine. instead of being powered by petrol (and needing to use normal ignition with an electric spark plug), it would be magically powered, and need recharged by mako himself (via lightningbending) every few days. naturally, the police scanner, siren, and lights would all not work.

BOON REQUEST: Aang would probably first ask that the Seelie king and queen meet personally with the Unseelie king and queen and attempt to settle their differences in order to make a peaceful compromise that will make everyone happy.

I'm assuming he'll be told that's not gonna happen, so then he'll ask for Appa, his flying bison.
ALTERATIONS: Fairies are free to give him dirty looks for trying to compromise with the enemy.

If the Terminator wishes to leave the Station then, as discussed with the player prior to their app for such a unique character being submitted, they will need to complete an event and have him place his own boon request to be turned 70% human from his organic layer. We're sorry, but boons are rewards for participation in events and cannot be traded from player to player on such a personal level.
