+1 Old One

 Hello! I'm Lel and I'm brand new to this game, although I think I know some of you from other games.

I'll be bringing in young Will Stanton from the Dark is Rising Sequence. 

Will is a quiet and polite kid from 1970's rural England. Most of the time he seems completely ordinary, if a little old for his age.He also happens to be an Old One of the Light.  Although he was born as a human boy and still loves his human family, he actually isn't very human at all. 

He's a bit of a wizard and a bit of a time traveler and slightly telepathic. Oh, and he knows the Merlin of his world. And is best friends with Arthur's son. 

Will was born to fight in a war between the Light and the Dark and to defend humanity against the Dark. A war which just ended in his canon. So naturally he's not going to be too happy to have just been pulled into another one. He'll be in Seelie.

Haha, though I don't know how Mordred fits into Will's world. Could be fun to try and figure out. Its kind of vague over what happened besides Camelot falling to the Dark and Guinevere and Merlin conspiring to bring Arthur's son to 1970s Wales to grow up.

That's true! I'll probably have Will introduce himself to the network as soon as someone explains the lockets to him. He'll be fascinated by the idea.

I'm really excited for this too! Even though our characters couldn't be more different from the last time we were in a game together.

it's so true! Oscar is certainly the mothering type but he's lacking all the trauma and bitterness and self loathing that Dean had. It's gonna be interesting to see what kind of dynamic we end up creating between these two!

And despite his quirks, Will is so much more sensible than Danny or Conan.

I remember that Will fondly from the books. I really need to reread them someday. I haven't since childhood.

You should! I started playing from DIR because of rereading them as an adult. They really hold up well.

I think Eachdraidh should be a really good fit for him! Plus it will be interesting playing him against so many other fantasy canons.

I've heard a lot of good things about them, so I'm excited.

Jack will puzzle Will a great deal, I think. Magical beings in his world don't usually want anything to do with humans.

He'll be very curious about Thranduil too! In every game I've ever played him, Will has gotten along with any LOTR elves very well.
