MINI-SEELIE (+SOME UNSEELIE) FIELD DAY EVENT-ISH THING

Hi all, Crin here!

Now that my life is not overtaken by finals and I have time to do things I decided to have a little fun! In the middle-ish of all the star sparklies going down (July 9th-11th), Kaldur will be hosting a Field Day/Training day for anyone who wants to attend, specifically with the intent to help train/combat-ready people who have no experience, raise morale, and to provide an opportunity for people to practice any ability-boons they got but haven't had the time to learn yet.

So basically this is a glorified excuse to hang out with people and actually log out learning new things, as well as some fun and silliness along the way. It is occurring AFTER the fairy rings are operational, so if people want to bring cross-court friends or want to hop there from far away, that is entirely an option!

I have a couple tentative ideas about some events, normal field-day/sports-day things like races, relays and wrestling contests, and prizes can be awarded! (Since Kaldur has a large-ish stash of gold from the worm event waaaaaaay back in April?)

(EDIT:ICLY THERE WAS A HAND-WAVED ANNOUNCEMENT THAT GAVE BASIC INFORMATION SUCH AS DATE & TIME TO ALL SEELIE SHARDHOLDERS, SO ANYONE WHO HAS A SEELIE-CASTLE AFFILIATION COULD HAVE SEEN IT UP ON THE NETWORK)

The fields just outside the Seelie Castle, at the moment, though its possible other nearby locations will be used, depending on the events (like a swimming contest in the Underground lake or in the river or something)

sounds excellent he had to leave school and he sort of wishes he could go back and learn stuff and trust me, Kaldur leads a Team of superpowered teenagers for a living. Hermoine will be like a vacation.

but oh man okay so canonically flora has run her fair share of and seems to like putting obstacle courses together. so if that's needed or if anyone wants to do that, she would totally do that. with like moving targets n' stuff too

I am so sorry that I am slow about this BUT YES!

There was a handwaved network post (which I think I mentioned on plurk but not here I will fix that) that was basically an announcement to all seelie shardholders, (as well as a few specifically-picked unseelie) inviting them and their friends regardless of alignment for funtimes. I didn't post it to the network because it wasn't really something that would have been replied to? Also there are people in other locations (The Station, for sure) who were invited/know about it going on!
