kingsdaughter: (I'm just saying it's up to you)

Someone is watching you

Hey, all!  Tori here with a teensy plotty thing.

Sigrid, while otherwise boringly human, is of a bloodline which allows her to understand the language of certain types of birds.  She will start using this to the advantage of Caer Glaem, but she's not telling anyone what she's doing with it (except possibly Ned Stark, her bossman).  As soon as word comes out of the functionality of the new teleporting fairy rings, she will send a flock of thrushes to watch the portal nearest to Caer Glaem (the Southwood Ring).  This is to watch for any suspicious activity, such as a huge-ass army coming through from Caer Scima to attack everybody.

Most activity that goes on around the Southwood Ring will probably not be worth the flight it would take to report back to Sigrid, but if you would like for Sigrid to learn about something your character is up to around there, then feel free to give this account a PM.  If you are in fact bringing a huge-ass army through the portal to attack, there is nothing the birds can do to stop you, of course, but Sigrid will know about it before you actually arrive at Caer Glaem unless something is worked out beforehand.  It doesn't mean there won't be a battle, it just means there won't be a surprise attack.  However, she is not keeping birds at the Northwood Ring, at least not unless someone ICly suggests it to her, so there can still be surprise attacks.  I am very flexible and we can arrange things to suit everyone.  If all else fails we can always say at some point the birdcams all went nighty-night and your character got through without being spotted.  There are drawbacks to using animals for spies, after all.

Thanks, everyone, and keep plotting things.
