CALLING ALL SEELIE

Hello everyone!

As you may be aware, the Unseelie are currently transporting a prisoner known as Raonil (or Isengrim) to Maupertius.

Having found this out through Unseelie leaks Lancelot urged Kaldur to tell Ridire, who said 'well go get him then'. Since Kaldur was busy, he kindly bounced that task back into Lancelot's lap.

(Thanks bro.)

So Lancelot will be looking for volunteers! However, since he has been warned there may be an Unseelie spy in the ranks he will not be advertising that -- he will be doing it subtly.

What This means:
★ Lancelot will advertise that he is now helping Seelie Marshal Gwenllian and they are going to have training sessions. These will be Open to All Skill Levels. It will be made a point of that if you have never held a weapon you can come and learn. If you are an expert, Lancelot can help you learn Shard Manipulation which he learnt form Reynard. That will boost the strength/speed/etc of your character!
★ Lancelot and Gwenllian will then make a private assessment based on the way everyone who turns up behaves and go to some people to recruit them into the negotiation/ambush team. They will not inform this team of the later part of the plan. Everything will be a little need-to-know to try and avoid leaks where possible.
★ Lancelot and Gwenllian will also start to recruit for another team who, if the first team succeed, will be a second ambush on Reynard using Raonil/Isengram as bait. Note that No success is guaranteed on getting hold of Raonil so this team may need to stall or regroup or do something else but Lancelot will need to get one prepared regardless because he is planning ahead.
★ Lastly, there will be a final plan, that only a few people will be aware of, to regroup everyone (+ possibly a few extra trusted people) to make an attempt to claim Maupertius if this all success.

Full Plan with other details and considerations is here for the curious. Nothing is set in stone -- this is the plan being made ICly and it can ICly fail at any point and disaster can descend. I cannot stress this enough!

SO.

Tell me what you would like to do! PLEASE NOTE you can absolutely come to training and not get involved in anything else. The training will be set up as an open log so you can hang about with anyone else getting taught by a friend who volunteers or by Lancelot or whoever! I want this to be a good opportunity for everyone to mingle, as well as get involved in other things!

If your character cannot attend the training but you would like them taught at another time, they can contact Lancelot to ask. Equally, if they would not ICly turn up but you want them trained or volunteered let me know and we can fashion a way to drag them sideways into it.

However, I'd like to get an idea of how many people are coming and if you'd be interested in putting them forward for any stage of the plan so we can gauge how things might go trying to gamble on getting Raonil off the Unseelie.

Character: Toboe
Skills: He's no expert, but he can fight effectively in the way that a canine can. He's reasonably quick, slow to tire, agile, and has the senses of what he is,
Volunteering for: At the least, he'd be very up for observing training, or seeing if he can find a place in it all. If there was even a chance of him winding up on a team, he'd probably ask several questions with regards to the whats and whys of relevant plans, but he'd be willing to serve as a lookout, defensive fighter, etc.
NOTES: He's not human, hence the if he can find a way to take part in training! He wouldn't be able to hold a weapon let alone be trained in one! Returning to if recruitment, again, he'd ask questions - who Raonil and Reynard are, what they've done, and exactly what the plan for them would be. It's unlikely that anything coming to my head would absolutely put him off of tossing his figurative hat in altogether, however (except perhaps any firmness on killing Raonil that might be settled on, based on the immediately-available information).

Character: Anthony
Skills: He's a messenger - likely above-average in quickness and overall fitness. He has all but literally no finesse as a fighter but heck yes he'd be willing to improve, and he's held a sword before.
Volunteering for: Training would be a definite, and on the off-chance he'd qualify for a team, 'twould be an honor to aid his fellow Seelie Travelers.
NOTES: Nothing that comes to mind!

Ahh he's been in position to grow quickly comfortable enough with people knowing, in fact, as the glamour effect doesn't project over the lockets and the fairies can more likely than not see through it! Therefore he's had it established well enough for now that being a wolf won't cause inherent trouble for getting by/getting along.

Make o' that what thou wilt for the purposes of plans that in fact do already involve wolves.

Possible lupine ambassador on board, then - and haa dandy to know! I don't suppose it would be a stretch to imagine he might either up-front fess up he's not human or it's simply come up/be less-advertently revealed if he tries to take part in training. =|a But either way, whatever and however everything might or might not happen!

Editing adding a note: if he was to go along with the first team, failing any other way already lined up of pinpointing Raonil or the Unseelie, he might try/offer to howl for him - I'd not know if Raonil would respond to that, of course, or if the option would strategically hurt rather than help if it was to be relevant, but nevertheless stating it!
