SEPTEMBER BOON REQUESTS

A little late again, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!





Wherever Shardbearer characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th SEPTEMBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held in October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who managed to find a feather of any kind gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

Otherwise, make sure to mention something you think your character might want!



If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BOON REQUEST: "Thanks for the medical supplies, I'm sure it'll come in handy! As for now, I can't think of anything specific I need."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Wildcard it. Suggestions are weapons (sword and daggers are his main, but I'm flexible), armor, things to enhance his magic or healing capabilities, haircare stuff or even some sort of animal companion 'cause that's always funny. My only request that if it's anything that's power related, it's something he can remove if he chooses because he's got trust issues there.

Zelos will be given the Spear of Dawn, a battle-spear fashioned of an unfamiliar red metal which hums with power to the touch! It will burn whatever it cuts, and in the dark, radiate more than enough light to see by.

Aw yeah more ways to burn things he'll love it.

Is it okay to imply seeking out basic spear training from soldiers in the Court? Or should I just try the training through other shardholders?

We encourage you to train with other PCs! In fact, Lancelot and John Grimm have agreed to begin training shardbearers in concert!
