BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros, it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th OCTOBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the the next shall be posted shortly, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who participated in the moon plot gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. Otherwise, make sure to mention something you think your character might want!



If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

CHARACTER NAME: Spike
CANON: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
FACTION: Unseelie
RELEVANT THREAD(S): Link #1 Link #2 - Spike was there to steal the Moon, but he and the others never got the chance. So effectively he appeared to actually be guarding the moon and later trying to chase it down.
BOON REQUEST: "There's this gem back home that works as nice fancy sunblock." - this being the Gem of Amara.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Spike will probably get rejected because of the Reynard thing. In which case - fair enough. Otherwise he might just be happy getting Morla's offer for protection from the sun that she offered during his first day. He's on the verge of becoming rather nasty and may find himself inclined to start causing a little chaos on the Seelie side (as opposed to just wherever the hell he likes.)

BOON ALTERED

The fairies will inform him that Morla requires a greater sign of his loyalty to her cause after he slew her men and corroborated with Seelie soldiers if he desires such a mark of her favor. Instead of his request, he'll receive an iron ring which will allow Spike (and only Spikke) to teleport where he wishes during nights. Its magic will only work for 30 days.
