BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros, it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th OCTOBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the the next shall be posted shortly, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who participated in the moon plot gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. Otherwise, make sure to mention something you think your character might want!



If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

BOON REQUEST: She'll be upset at the restrictions the faeries told her and say "Whatever your rules are, I do not care. I want to see my children."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Wording is tricky at the best of times, especially when talking to the sidhe, and it's never a good idea to be so vague. Grainne knows better, but she wanted to see what they would do with such a request. Maybe something like a magic photograph.

The fairies will deliver to her rooms a selection of small oil paintings of Grainne and her children, which have been set into frames and set atop the furniture.
