fairywoes | BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros, it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!

Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th OCTOBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the the next shall be posted shortly, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who participated in the moon plot gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

BOON REQUEST: "Kronos took something of mine, so I'm going to take something of his."
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Particularly looking at this one ability. Chronokinesis is the ability to manipulate time in every sense of the word. (Kronos could freeze and accelerate a person and the flow of time; he could change how people perceive time i.e. slowing it down; he could control the affects of time, and he was resistant to it.) I know it's pretty powerful, so I thought up a few possible alterations (because I honestly do not want a lot of it)!

— Not really keen on doing anything with how people perceive time tbh.
— He's able to slow down time to the point where things are frozen, as well as being able to speed things up. (Think Piper Halliwell from Charmed here.)
— He can rewind time in a very small space, like maybe with just one person rather than affecting an entire city. (As that requires too much coordination and is definitely Awkward As Fuck. I'm thinking Curtis Donovan from Misfits, but sans affecting the entire world since I'm sure that's his scope.)
— Generally people don't seem to remember if they've been placed under this ability. I don't care either way.
— Be resistant to any of his own shit.

I'm honestly just more into being able to control time, like rewind it or even fast forward in a very small space with one or two people (as I don't really want it to cover all of Drabwurld as that's really lame (think Curtis Donovan again)) and be able to slow it down and speed it up (which is basically what I just said, but I guess in a way that's like focusing on an object that may be coming toward him or even an attack so he can evade it (think Piper Halliwell again)). Luke wants to finally steal stuff from Kronos because that asshole is the reason why he's dead. It's better than asking for his coffin???

If this is granted at all, I'd love it if whenever he used this ability that his eyes glow gold! Otherwise, if this isn't okay, wildcard. (He just really wants something of Kronos'!) I just want something that will make his eyes glow gold when he uses an ability or what not!

BOON ALTERED

OOCly, that power is just a liiiiittle big to allow in-game. Instead, he'll get a golden cloak and an offer to join the Golden Cadre, and his serpent staff will now allow him to teleport to areas of the drabwurld he has been before.

that's cool! it never hurts to ask. ♥ is there any element he could have (sorry for the edit, but idk if you guys have ever seen the bamf show charmed but i was thinking maybe he could do what piper does and freeze a localised/very small area?) or is it just completely out? (just asking because he got teleportation in a previous boon.)

and (▰˘◡˘▰)!!!! since he can already teleport thanks to a previous boon, is it cool to perhaps work the golden eyes thing in with that ability? would still love the staff to let him teleport for future plotty things (if that's possible, if not, that is cool as well)! ♥
