BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybros, it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!




Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th OCTOBER (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the the next shall be posted shortly, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people.

This month, everybody who participated in the moon plot gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one! Please try to think of a boon to suggest; wildcard boons will likely be saved for last.

Okay. So, if he activates the one in Cothromach and steps through to Caer Glaem, would he have to take a fairy ring back to Cothromach to re-activate that mirror, or could he activate it from Caer Glaem back to Cothromach with his spell and it's like ah... portal spell, but only to and from those two locations? So if he wanted to go to, say, the station, he'd have to have a second mirror set up that was tuned to another mirror there and not use his Glaem/Cothromach pair, yes?

Yep, he's going to just buy a crapload of mirrors and carry the other halves around in his pouch. =| He will be known as THE MIRROR WIZARD, which he'll be known as after he gets stuck in them.

(stupid side question because of reasons: If he did get stuck in the mirrors, would it just be those two? Or could he like... pop into all mirrors and just whine at people to get him out or mutely pantomime things...)

Okay! Hopefully this makes it more clear:
- he would need to activate one in caer glaem, first, and then travel to the cothromach to activate one there. once that's done, he could travel from the one to the cothromach back to caer glaem, and then the bridge they'd made would be gone, and he'd have to re-fashion the same bridge.

An interesting way to handle this would be to get dozens of small mirrors and mount them on one wall of his room, and charm multiples to specific locations. that way his room can function as a hub to multiple individual mirrors in multiple locations.

Now, BETWEEN MIRRORS!
If trapped between mirrors, Stiles would be able to jump between any and all mirrors (but not any old mirrored surface: must be a mirror). He can talk to people from the other side and be heard. Someone on another side must break a mirror he's in to release him.
