Boon Requests

Hey, guys! The Wild Edric event officially ended on the 19th (feel free to keep backtagging, of course!) and we're a day behind on tossing up the boon request post because RL plus Summer equals Hangovers, oops so this will run until 24TH MAY (00:01am LONDON GMT) instead of the 23RD. The tooth and sword were BOTH recovered by their respective sides!

Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th May (00:01am LONDON GMT), no matter where they are, there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly (to avoid clashing with apps opening!) so the next will be in June. Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) where support has been shown for your faction that will qualify for a boon.

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BRIEF RUNDOWN OF CHARACTER INVOLVEMENT: The first shows him assaulting Caer Scima, only to run into battle with Jaime Lannister, which he'll be losing. The second is a post-event dual post that has him stuck in Unseelie territory due to a mishap with Sansa.
BOON REQUEST: A well-packed horse. Possibly a destrier or some form of warhorse suited for a knight.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: He's far away from court, so hopefully it would arrive somewhere near him. He's hoping for it to come with saddlebags and canteens to ease their journey, hence 'well packed'. But that doesn't mean it has to have these things.

BOON APPROVED
As with Sansa, Gendry will find a horse has been delivered to him by fairy ring; a tall buckskin warhorse, well-trained to commands of voice, leg, and rein. It will be outfitted with fine tack and black-and-gold barding emblazoned with a bulls-head motif.

It will have no saddlebags, but a simple leather traveling pack will also be delivered with rations, water, and blankets, fitted with metal rings which may be attached to the back of any practical saddle or slung across a shoulder.
