Boon Requests

Hey, guys! The Wild Edric event officially ended on the 19th (feel free to keep backtagging, of course!) and we're a day behind on tossing up the boon request post because RL plus Summer equals Hangovers, oops so this will run until 24TH MAY (00:01am LONDON GMT) instead of the 23RD. The tooth and sword were BOTH recovered by their respective sides!

Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th May (00:01am LONDON GMT), no matter where they are, there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly (to avoid clashing with apps opening!) so the next will be in June. Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) where support has been shown for your faction that will qualify for a boon.

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BRIEF RUNDOWN OF CHARACTER INVOLVEMENT: (I went on hiatus due to a combination of personal reasons, school, and work just as the event was starting, so I was only able to thread a small amount of event stuff out, despite all the plotting I organized for the team in the gdoc. If this isn't enough, I apologize, and please disregard this boon!)

If Clarisse was the grey team commander, Mako was the team coordinator. He largely oversaw the protection of the noncombatants on their team, and organized a lot of the more stealthy aspects of the raid; sneaking into the castle, filching food, even setting fire to a few of the supply rooms to tie up their enemies. In the battle for the Dara itself, he supplied Luke with firebending coverage, and did his best afterwards to make sure his squad (stealth and noncombatants) used their fairy ring to get home. Additionally, if no canonmates did it first, mako picked up Derek's (altercate) shard after he disappeared/was dropped, not realizing what it was until they discovered Derek is gone. He still has it on him, and will give it up to a fairy if asked, but he'd like to show it to Korra first, if he has the chance.

Upon returning home, he did his best to help with the fires, keeping it from spreading with his firebending, but uh, he's definitely better at making them than putting them out.

BOON REQUEST: Mako doesn't know what to ask for, and writes as much on the paper.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Mako hasn't asked for anything, but he is in need of some proper equipment! He's been fighting/doing everything in his clothes coat from home, but a set of light armor (in leather, perhaps meant for a ranger) would be appreciated in future combat. Preferably something meant for maximum mobility, since he doesn't fight with traditional weapons. Or gold. He is always okay with gold.

Mako will receive an invitation to the forge where aelfen-made scale armour will be fitted to him; the light metal will allow him to move quickly and freely while absorbing the shock of any physical attacks and will not retain any heat from flames. Additionally, he will be invited to the Wardrobe to be fitted for three new outfits and granted a small trunk of gold coins.

He will also receive a small pouch of sea prunes.
