THE ROAD TO WAR

Clarisse has one of the family jewels (hurr hurr) of Celegorm's family, and he's gonna about-face from the successful attack on Mair to head south to Caer Glaem reclaim it. By force.

He'll be travelling with some Unseelie folks + ??? (pending mod info and ooc wrangling with other pcs) soldiers, some survived from Mair, some fresh reinforcements. Ideally, a Seelie force will ride out to meet him before he makes it to Caer Glaem, so as not to interrupt PCs there who don't want to participate.

Please fill out this handy chart to list your participation deets if you're interested and so you can plot with other folks! I will update this header post with more info as plans get hashed out. So far:

1. There will be TWO logs! THIS FIRST LOG is for the army in transit and in prep, and THIS SECOND LOG for the battle proper!

2. NPC matchmaking service! There's a lot more seelie than unseelie, so for those who want to actually play out battling orcs, drow, trolls, men, werewolves, or other fun opponents, there will be plenty of opportunities to do that! In the event post, there will be bios of these types of opponents and difficulty ratings, so if you have a character that would mow through the ground troops, you can do that! If you're wanting more of a boss-battle which actually tests your character's strengths, that can be handled too!

3. Event will be forward-dated! The event log for the battle itself will be going up a few days early, for those who have their plans all hashed out and want to get a move on!

BATTLE PLANS: Sigrid has quickly become an intelligence system for the Seelie, although there aren't many who know she's involved at all. She has birds (specifically thrushes) as her scouts, since she can understand them. They will be bringing word from Mair and the nearest fairy ring to Caer Glaem and probably here and there in between. Her orders are to take Meera and Sansa and get the hell out of dodge if it looks like the Unseelie will make it to Caer Glaem, but even so, she will have eyes and ears all over the place.
SHARD PLANS: Nope!

it seems like mako's doing something similar, though through more of a direct approach definitely, and trolling through each and every thing on the network for information on this bullshit conflict. maybe they can somehow end up in contact with each other for information?

(at the very least one of her birds might notice him talking about it/doing research but idk how plausible that is.)

sidenote possibly to be addressed later, Kaldur and Masamori (Unseelie) are working on getting a list of all the different information/accounts on the conflict, so Kaldur and Mako should sit down and cross notes at some point. Kaldur is also heading out to other cities for info, and potentially there would be information sought from the Drabkeeper, but that is long-term stuff.

okay! i'm going with the assumption that mako has seen everything... on the network since clarisse's post, and maybe more after the battle so. that might. help hahsfdlkj.

If the birds noticing him is a stretch, having one of her fairies notice him would not be. She has three who work for her. If they notice him doing something worth telling her about, she could definitely contact him.
